    Amarillo's Heal the City

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC-SOP) is comprised of the main campus in Amarillo and regional campuses in Abilene, Dallas/Fort Worth and Lubbock.

By the time TTUHSC-SOP students graduate, they have completed one of the most comprehensive pharmacy education and training programs in the U.S. In fact, TTUHSC-SOP students receive more clinical training hours than do students from any other pharmacy program in the country. This extensive training far exceeds Texas State Board of Pharmacy requirements and is a major advantage for our graduates when they begin seeking career opportunities.

TTUHSC-SOP also offers the largest Pharm.D./M.B.A. program in the country. In addition, our four academic departments—Pharmacy Practice, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Biomedical Sciences and Immunotherapeutics and Biotechnology—offer students unique education experiences that are strengthened by the wide variety of interprofessional education opportunities we provide through our relationship with the TTUHSC Schools of Medicine and Nursing.

When we mix in the stellar reputation our science faculty members have earned through state-of-the-art medical discoveries in pharmaceutical research, it’s no wonder the TTUHSC School of Pharmacy is considered one of the country's premiere institutions for comprehensive pharmacy education and training.
