Distance Learning

Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center offers a variety of resources for both students interested in pursuing their education via distance learning and faculty who are teaching electronically delivered courses.

Additional online and regional programs are offered by Texas Tech University and Angelo State University.

State Authorization for Distance Education

For the institution to offer online or correspondence courses in a state other than Texas, TTUHSC must first comply with that state's requirements. These requirements differ from state to state. Refer to the map below to view the states for which the School of Allied Health Sciences (SOAHS), School of Nursing (SON), and Gayle Greve Hunt School of Nursing (GGHSON) have state authorization, those that are pending authorization, and those for which TTUHSC is not authorized to offer distance education.
