Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center offers a variety of resources for both
students interested in pursuing their education via distance learning and faculty
who are teaching electronically delivered courses.
Additional online and regional programs are offered by Texas Tech University and Angelo State University.
State Authorization for Distance Education
For the institution to offer online or correspondence courses in a state other than
Texas, TTUHSC must first comply with that state's requirements. These requirements
differ from state to state. Refer to the map below to view the states for which TTUHSC
has state authorization, and those for which TTUHSC is not authorized to offer distance

TTUHSC has been approved by Texas to participate in the National Council for State
Authorization Reciprocity Agreements (NC-SARA). NC-SARA is a voluntary, regional approach
to state oversight of postsecondary distance education.

information updates, monitoring of your TTUHSC student account, student services,
and registration for each semester no matter where you are located.
