The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy (TTUHSC-SOP) program
provides a robust and innovative curriculum that prepares new professionals to meet
the evolving roles in the pharmacy field. Pharmacists educated and trained by TTUHSC-SOP
are frequently sought by employers. In fact, these employers often cite the excellent
clinical skills possessed by our graduates as a key factor in hiring decisions.
The TTUHSC-SOP offers a variety of programs to meet the needs of its various students.
Primary among those programs is the Pharm.D. Program, which prepares our graduates for the myriad roles that define today's pharmacy profession.
We also offer the Pharm.D./M.B.A. Program, which we added in 2006 in collaboration with Texas Tech University's Rawl College
of Business to prepare our graduates for management positions within the profession.
Beyond these standard courses, the TTUHSC-SOP also provides continuing education coursework (especially for our preceptors), a Pharmacy Residency Program and graduate programs in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Biomedical Sciences.
