Speech - Language and Hearing Clinics
The Department of Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences has a long history of service. From its establishment in 1928 at the Texas Technological College, the department has educated thousands of speech-language pathologists and audiologists. Today, the Department and the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic are located at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center (TTUHSC). Clinical services offered through the TTUHSC Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic give students the opportunity to work with patient populations ranging from birth to adulthood and to conduct research projects. Through the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, students work along with certified and licensed speech-language pathologists and audiologists to provide clinical care to people throughout the West Texas area. The Speech - Language and Hearing Clinic offers a wide range of testing and treatment services for children and adults with hearing, balance, speech, language, and swallowing difficulties.

If you are interested in an appointment at the Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic, please call 806-743-5678 to request an appointment. A packet of information, including a case history form and insurance form, will be sent to you. The case history should be completed and returned to the Clinic. If available, copies of previous evaluations, progress notes, IEPs, physician notes, etc., should be included with the case history form. A map for parking will also be included.
The Speech, Language and Hearing Clinic is located on the 2nd floor of the Health Sciences Center, Pod A, next to the Cafeteria. The clinic is open Monday through Friday during normal business hours. Please call 806-743-5678 to ask when appointments are available.
Parking is located in lots C1, C2, and D2 which are designated as patient parking.
