The Office of Professional Affairs provides leadership and guidance in the development and promotion of career enhancing programs and employment opportunities for all students. These programs are intended to develop and enhance professional attitudes and values, promote a supportive atmosphere for life-long learning and emphasize continued personal and professional development.
Debra Notturno-Strong, R.Ph., M.S.
Associate Dean for Professional Affairs
Associate Dean Strong earned her BS in Pharmacy from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy, her Master's in General Administration from Central Michigan University and Masters' degrees in Pharmacy Administration and Health Policy from University of the Sciences in Philadelphia. Originally from Ashland, Mass., Dean Strong retired from the United States Air Force after 24 years of service in the medical and pharmaceutical fields. She is married to her husband, Jay, and they have two children, Matthew and Alexandra. She enjoys Christian music, Internet shopping, NCAA and NFL Football. She also loves to cook!
Rebecca Perry was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas. She started working for the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center School of Pharmacy in October 1999 in the Student Services Department. In May 2007, she transferred to the Professional Affairs Department. Prior to her time with the SOP, Rebecca worked in the law enforcement area. She is the mother of two wonderful sons, Derek and Sean, and has two grandsons, Justin and JT. She enjoys gardening and outdoor activities and participates in Special Olympics with Sean.
