HRPP Education and Training Overview

The TTUHSC HRPP policy requires that all Principal Investigators, Co-Investigators, and research study personnel are required to receive training regarding the protection of Human Subject research and financial conflict of interests. This training must be completed prior to beginning any human research-related activities.  

HRPP POLICY APPLIES TO:
  • All research study personnel who engage (or plan to engage) in Human Subject Research.
  • All research involving human subjects, regardless of funding or sponsorship.

Failure to Comply

The IRB has the authority to suspend or withhold approval from any project that involves study personnel who fail to meet these education requirements.

 

      Prerequisites for Being Involved in Human Subject Research


1)  Complete the HRPP training requirements:

2)  Have/maintain an active Cayuse account (with Human Ethics access):

3)  Be familiar with the HRPP Manual:
      • In addition to completing the HRPP training requirements and maintaining an active Cayuse account, all research study personnel are also required to be familiar with the HRPP Manual.
