Online Degree Flexibility for Occupational Therapy Professionals

The post-professional OTD is offered fully online, allowing students the ability to participate in academic studies while maintaining their employment as an occupational therapist. The program format is also an ideal method for professionals to immediately apply what they learn in the program to real-world professional OTD practice situations.

Accreditation: The Online Doctor of Occupational Therapy

The Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center post-professional OTD program has been approved by the Texas Higher Educational Coordinating Board (THECB). The Post-Professional OTD received accreditation in 2020. The final cohort will be admitted in the fall of 2026 in a lock-step format to close out the program.

I work full-time and have a family, so I was looking for a school that could accommodate that. TTUHSC gives me the flexibility I need to take courses online, while also focusing on work and family. I value the faculty that respect and understand that we are all adults in the same field who are working towards furthering our education.
