Selection Process
TTUHSC participates in the ERAS® - The Electronic Residency Application Service for selection of new residents. The selection process at Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center begins only when the application is complete. It is highly recommended that applicants complete their file as soon as possible. Selected applicants will be notified if an interview has been granted. Please note that applicants are responsible for ensuring that their application file is complete.
The items listed below must be in your application file or your file will not be reviewed by the TTUHSC Anesthesiology Residency Selection Committee.
- Completed ERAS Application
- Personal Statement
- Current Curriculum Vitae (In chronological order, no gaps please)
- 3 Letters of Recommendation
- USMLE and/or COMLEX Exam Report
- Dean's Letter
- Medical School Transcripts
- ECFMG Certificate, if applicable
***Please note that in order to be considered, all applicants must be eligible to apply for a Texas license and also be able to comply with the requirements set forth by the Graduate Medical Education Department of TTUHSC.
TTUHSC participates in the ERAS® - The Electronic Residency Application Service for selection of new residents. Please upload your application materials to ERAS and place them under Residency/Fellowship, PGY 1, and the year you are applying.
Applications are considered on a rolling basis, with the deadline of December 31. Applicants are encouraged to complete their file as early as possible.
