Our Expanded Mission and Name

The Office of Professional Development and Accredited Continuing Education (formally known as Office of Accredited Interprofessional Continuing Medical Education) now incorporates both Faculty Development and Accredited Continuing Education under one office. This integration enhances our ability to serve the educational needs of all healthcare professionals and faculty across TTUHSC by aligning lifelong learning, leadership, and interprofessional collaboration within a single, unified office.

Leadership Recognition

Cynthia Ogaz, D.B.A., M.B.A., CHCP, Managing Director of TTUHSC OPDACE, has been elected to the Board of Directors for the Alliance for Continuing Education in the Health Professions (ACEhp). This national leadership role reflects TTUHSC’s growing contribution to advancing innovation, collaboration, and quality in continuing education for the healthcare team.

We are delighted to announce that the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center Office of Professional Development and Accredited Continuing Education (TTUHSC OPDACE) has been granted Joint Accreditation, a testament to our commitment to excellence in healthcare education. With this prestigious accreditation, we now have the privilege to offer accredited continuing education to the entire healthcare team.
